Before I explain who Tim Lee is just wanted to share a blessing about CCIL (the Chinese church I was plugged into via Gary). The first week I arrived in London I was so desperate to meet other Christians. The first friday I was here I able to get in contact with one of the leaders at CCIL and was plugged into a DCG (sg) the next day. I didn't know my way around London yet and with my dumb phone I didn't know how to text that well. One of the guys named Eric met me by the closest tube stop to where I lived (which now I know it literally a minute walk...but I still took the tube..there lol).

I joined them for dinner in China Town and got the best & cheap chinese food evar! I wanted to take a picture of the food, but I was camera shy lol. Anyway, when I first met them it was literally 5-6 guys and me. If you know me well...I don't have that many close guy friends, especially at church because I had a hard time believing guys can be true brothers in Christ due to past experiences. BUT the guys in my dcg are seriously the SWEETEST group of guys I've ever met who truly love God and know how to love the all the sisters in the church. SO caring and So nice.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to build deep relationships with the community at CCIL because timing sucks. Due to my irregular schedule of traveling during the weekend I haven't been able to make it to dcg on fridays and their services sunday mornings. I was able to find HTB w/ Jamie & Victoria which offered more services times on sundays and a student pastorate group earlier in the weeks so I've been thankful.

I kept asking God why He had brought me to CCIL and I know it was to meet those brothers! (Of course, the sisters too! haha) I knew God was telling me to open up and let go of old emotions.
