Barcelona, Spain

Currently spending our last 24 hours at the Athens Airport due to a huge strike that's happening tomorrow. Found out that all public transportation would be closed off so we decided to check out early and get out of there! & thanks to McDonald's free wifi I decided to kill time by updating the blog!

Before I get into Athens!
Going to go back a couple days back...to Barcelona! I don't even now where to start. I didn't have a lot of expectation for Barcelona and didn't really know what to look forward to aside from knowing that Euni study abroad there last semester. From the moment we arrived to the very last second we left Barcelona..it was beautiful! (Euni, you did not tell me HOW amazing it really was!!). I'm starting to forget all the little details so I'm just going to list the pros and cons.

PROS:
- the weather was awesome (slightly humid, but better then rainy london)!
- The metro system was so easy to use + our hostel was in a perfect location from all the main stuff we wanted to see + I loved the how metro tickets never expired and how you could share one ticket with as many people as you wanted!
- People in Barcelona are SOSO nice & helpful. Literally every single person we asked for directions knew EXACTLY what street we were talking about and how to get there.
- Paella, Churros con chocolate, tapas, & sangria! CHECK
- Thanks to Kate & Euni's tip we found a free Gaudi walking tour! :')
- Beautiful fountains in the middle of streets!
- The beautiful night life in the city: we felt so safe walking around and coming home every night around 11pm!
- our first morning we walked through an area and found people passing our flags. At first we thought it was strike, but later we found out it was a holiday that day! Free flag souvenirs ftw! :')

CONS:
- none!

I know I'm forgetting so many other things I wanted to remember, but seriously Barcelona is the city of love. Paris, you're seriously not (lol, little bitter..sorry). Picture time! I'm so glad Priscilla and I decided to just bring one camera.

PS. I'm probably going to mention this more then once, but I'm so thankful of my travel buddy - Priscilla! I appreciate her confidence while traveling and keeping ME accountable when I had my moments of panic. I love prayer with her before leaving for each country and being constantly reminded that God is with us wherever we go!
PPS. Thank you for all your prayers! :')

I think Priscilla said the sign said, "one heart" :')
