Wanderlust

I'm so relieved to finally spend a weekend in London! After a busy week I was desperately looking for some alone time. So after a relaxing Friday morning of watching the new episode of Grey's Anatomy (RIP MCSTEAMY :(), catching up on HIMYM via a website Victoria told me about (SO EXCITED), & eating a big fat breakfast..I was ready to go out. I didn't care where. Just grabbed my umbrella and camera and I headed out without a destination. Got on the tube and got of Piccadilly Circus (London's Time Square) and I  was ready to get lost and explore. I love being able to just go out without a destination sometimes. I'll definitely miss this when I'm back in home. Walked into a St. James Park which lead me to Buckingham Palace! (somewhere I wanted to revisit). Another thing I love about London..big open beautiful parks!

Birds EVERYWHERE. no fear. creeped me out...a lot

Confession: This was my 2nd cone...

Be Still

I am secretly posting these pictures of my flat girls. I made them take a picture after one of our daily insanity workouts because I realized why God brought me here. Aren't we all just glowing in our sweat? :o)

forced photo HEHE (missing Alex though)

LOLL our room turns into a gym at night

It's already been a month + since I've been here. what?! Time is going by so fast! After coming back from Brussels and Paris I realized my heart belongs to London. How am I going to leave here in a few months back to..Irvine. I've learned so much after only a month of being here and at times I had a hard time accepting what God wanted me to do for these girls. I was reminded that I need to be still and be present with the people that God sent to me in London. Though I miss home and my relationships back in LA, I need to focus on being HERE. Time is running out! ahh, but my heart really goes out to my flatgirls and I am blessed to be one of their flatmates. God is definitely here with all of us (even if they don't know it ;)).

Midterm week is here! Not really midterm week, but still got to get work done...right? RIGHT!

Paris, France

HOME SWEET LONDON!

It was such a blessing to spend time with Erica in Paris! I couldn't help but keep saying and thinking how blessed we were to be together in Europe.  Thank you soso much for sheltering me, feeding me, and showing me around the city of love!

I have to say I love eurostar! I wish I could just take the train to all the places instead of flying. So easy and no stress! Going to Paris wasn't too bad because I a little bit of confidence left over from Brussels that stayed with me and Erica had given me detailed directions on how to get to her via the metro. I had to stop myself during the train ride to thank God a few times though. I found myself feeling overly confident on my own. After a good weekend of sleeping in, eating tons of good french food, walking around the city of love, and spending time with Erica..I was ready to go home. After trying to speed through the metro and the security to get to my train I barely made it on my train! PTL for that. The moment my butt touched my seat, the train started moving. PHEW!

But, yes! I am so glad I am back in London. Tbh, Paris disappoint me a little bit. My first impression of Parisians = pretentious. I was super intimidated by the Parisians because I was worried I might offended them by not being able to speak french I tried to avoid going into stores when I was wondering alone. Yes, it was the city of love, but at times..I wasn't too sure..where the love was. Paris was beautiful, but I gave my heart to London! :') It was awesome getting off the train (despite the pouring rain) and listening to British accents all around me! It was nice to come home to my flatmates! Even though they were all knocked out from their trip this weekend, it was good to be home.
